Welcome to the Thinstuff Mexico and Latin America website hereinafter "Thinstuff". Please review the following terms and conditions regarding the use of the license and this site.

By using this site, including downloading materials, you agree to these terms and conditions. Thinstuff reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time at its sole discretion. All software is provided for evaluation, personal, internal use only and may not be used for commercial, development, or production purposes. In addition, such Software will be disabled of all functions and features and will cease to function after a set period of time when downloaded from the Thinstuff Website.

Privacy Policy

Thinstuff collects certain personal data such as Name, address and tax code during registration processes. Thinstuff does not collect any payment data through this website and payment within the online store and purchase. All payment details entered on the partner and/or end user website during the checkout process are not accessible to Thinstuff.

Additionally, the data requested is solely for the registration of the licensing and for the preparation of the corresponding invoice. The requested data is stored for registration and licensing control. Because this data is necessary for accounting purposes, this data cannot be requested to be deleted.

These privacy policies are accepted when you agree to use the Thinstuff website and purchase the Software solution.

Removal Request

Any other data not relevant to the accounting and registration of the licensing may be requested to be deleted.

Services and features provided with purchased software and Thinstuff Support

All Thinstuff products purchased (except where expressly noted) include up-to-date maintenance and support for one year from the date of purchase. This support is described in the purchase order at the time of making the order request and unless it does not exist, it includes technical support by email, Via On Line support for up to two events and support via telephone or through the Skype system during business hours. Customer service Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Central Mexico time. Support will be given without a guaranteed response time and there are no guaranteed solutions to a particular problem. For advanced support contact Thinstuff.

Software updates

The purchased software can be updated (for example, additional features, bug fixes, ...) during one year within the same major version (only changes to the minor version, the part after the ".") From free form. Upgrades to other major versions or editions may be purchased in accordance with the current and published price list.

Software Maintenance, Updates and Technical Support.

Thinstuff Mexico and Latin America only sells the license with the Update, Maintenance and Technical Support services of the solution for a period of one year from the moment the license is acquired, in which case if you want to extend these benefits in subsequent years, the maintenance payment of 25% of the value of the license must be covered for each year. Only features and bug fixes officially released by Thinstuff can be used to update a specific version.

If you purchase licensing from Thinstuff Mexico and Latin America, you have the right, if you wish, to install the program via On Line to verify that the Thinstuff service works correctly, validating only access for 3 simultaneous users. This benefit does not include the following services, unless you hire them:

Creation and configuration of users.
Application settings.
Printer configuration.
Remote access service to the server (outside the network).
Device and drive mapping, etc.

Maintenance and Update of the solution.

The licensing is backed by a period of one year to receive the software update of the original version free of charge, for changes and patches in the Windows Operating Systems as long as they remain in force by the manufacturer.

Technical Support Policy.

Technical support of the solution is provided via telephone, email, chat and/or online session (up to two events), and this concept will be understood as providing technical assistance from Monday to Friday on business days with hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 00 to 17:30 hrs., Central Mexico time to correct problems associated solely with the functionality of the solution and/or present an error in its performance, with the understanding that we will not be responsible for other third-party hardware and software functionalities.

Technical support is provided if you have an original Microsoft license, if you do not have this, Thinstuff Mexico and Latin America reserves the right to provide technical support to the user and is not responsible for the proper functioning of the program.

The computer on which Thinstuff is installed has or was manipulated with libraries that do not correspond to the original Microsoft ones, we do not guarantee the proper functioning of the system nor will support be provided.

The Operating System where the Thinstuff XP/VS Server program was installed does not have the Remote Desktop service working correctly. If it doesn't work, the Thinstuff solution won't work either unless it is corrected and configured by the responsible staff in your organization.

Thinstuff system configuration is required to perform remote printing, drive mapping, port mapping, audio, and device connection. These services are clearly configured by the Windows operating system and their configuration will be the responsibility of the organization.

IMPORTANT

After the Thinstuff license has been installed on the computer and/or server, it must not have any hardware changes such as changing the hard drive, increasing RAM memory, adding NETWORK cards, etc. since this will invalidate the license because the hardware key of the original equipment will be different. If the above happens, the license must be reactivated and it has a cost of USD $35.00 plus VAT, delivered from one business day to the next. Only up to 2 (two) reactivations will be allowed, so after these the new license must be acquired.

If you want to change the license to another server and/or reactivate it due to changes in its components, you must have the current service policy and make the payment of $35.00 dollars plus VAT for reactivation.

After two years of acquiring the license without having paid any maintenance, the full value of the license must be covered to be entitled to the benefits of the system and Technical Support services. In which case it will also not be possible to opt for the reactivation of the license.

No maintenance or technical support will be given to licenses that were acquired 2 years ago and that have not paid for maintenance and technical support.

License Limitations

Different RDP Server editions provide license limitations as documented in the pricing document and currently valid counts, as described in the Thinstuff online store.

Trial Version

The evaluation version is for evaluation purposes only and should not be used in production environments (either in a company or privately). It has some function limitation as described in product description and manual.
