Thinstuff Terminal Server XP/VS Professional Version

The Professional version of Thinstuff works with the RDP 6 protocol as a minimum, and offers encrypted connection by certificate.

It uses port 443 for its remote connection and once the connection to the Gateway server is made, it will use port 3389 internally for Remote Desktop.

Thinstuff in its Professional version is compatible with all Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019 systems and in the Foundation and Essentials Versions it will not allow more than 15 and 25 connections respectively, so if you purchase the Thinstuff standard version for unlimited connections, you must consider this limitation that is specific to the operating system and not Thinstuff. The Thinstuff license is married to the hardware where it will be installed, so the license is unique and non-transferable.

Thinstuff is installed in the operating system of the computer to use. If you want each physical or virtual server to be multi-session, you should consider a Thinstuff license on each of these.

Los elementos con los que se casa la licencia de Thinstuff de hardware son Motherboard, Memoria RAM, Tarjeta de Red, Procesador. El cambio de cualquiera de estos elementos revocará la licencia y será necesario una reactivación de la misma. Solicítela si cuenta con su póliza de servicio.

En máquinas Virtuales, es recomendable no cambiar los elementos de Hardware para que la licencia no deje de operar. En caso de necesitar aumentar las capacidades de los equipos en hardware ya sea un Servidor Físico o Virtual, se proporciona una licencia temporal en lo que se reactiva una nueva licencia con las nuevas componentes de hardware para que no detenga la operación. La póliza de servicio debe estar vigente.

The TSX Gateway system uses Security Certificates and it generates them automatically but it will only work if the certificate has the same DNS as the address to which it is required to connect. Example: name of the certificate "demo.compay.com", the address that is written must be the same: demo.company.com
